The Pheasant Hunt
The Pheasant Hunt begins with a breathtaking sunrise and a good hearty breakfast. Following the meal, you will meander out to our sporting clay range where you are able to practice up for the days hunt. One of our professional hunting guides will present a safety briefing to the entire group. Once the group is ready we will load up on one of the hunting buses and venture out to the fields.
Around noon, we will arrive back at the lodge for a quick lunch. Following the meal we give you the opportunity to get a brief R&R period or more practice at the clay targets prior to the afternoon hunt.
The hunt will continue into the after as we guarantee our guests will see hundreds of wild pheasants each day while walking our finest habitat. Hunters are also welcomed to try and conquer the prairies for the elusive sharp-tail grouse and prairie chicken. Being on a hotspot of the migratory fly path, we also invite our guests to hunt our lakes and ponds for various types of waterfowl species during the waterfowl season. The diversity and magnitude of wildlife species you will see and can harvest separates us from the rest.
At the end of your day, relax and enjoy a round of sporting clays or settle back and enjoy the great view of the sunset while listening to the pheasants cackling all around. Then let us excite your taste buds with a hot home-cooked meal before you unwind for the night and get ready for the next morning.
